Argentinian lawmakers in the lower house dealt a blow to President Javier Milei, voting to create a commission to investigate his involvement with the LIBRA token, which suffered a rug-pull after Milei promoted the token on social media. The deputies from the lower house voted 128 to 93 in favour of the special commission. The concept had failed to pass the Senate earlier. Milei maintains his innocence and claims that this is a classic political witch hunt. In February, Milei shared a post promoting the LIBRA token.
