Following first word of a crossover back in July, the popular manga and anime series "Attack on Titan" has expanded into Ethereum metaverse gaming platform The Sandbox with a new game called Attack on Titan: Invasion.
Attack on Titan: Invasion lets players become soldiers defending the Trost District against Titan attacks, working alongside characters like Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert from the source material. Players must complete training and successfully resist multiple invasion cycles to reach the final quest with Eren.
Playable on Windows and Mac, The Sandbox’s latest addition challenges participants to protect humanity by defeating waves of Titans. The success of the invasion depends entirely on players' combat abilities and strategic decision-making.
