Elon Musk has recently revealed Grok 3, which is built by his start-up AI company xAI. In a live stream on Musk’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Billionaire demonstrated the capabilities of Grok 3 claiming it to be “in a league of its own”.
“We are pleased to introduce Grok 3, our most advanced model yet: blending strong reasoning with extensive pre-training knowledge”, the company stated in a blog post. The post also compared Grok 3’s performance to its previous iterations, highlighting its improved performance across various benchmarks. “Grok 3 displays significant improvements in reasoning, mathematics, coding, world knowledge, and instruction-following tasks,” the company added.

Grok 3 Models
Grok 3 comes in two separate beta reasoning models: Grok 3 (Think) and Grok 3 mini (Think). While both models are still in training, xAI claims superior results compared to other popular AI models in OpenAI’s o3, Google’s Gemini 2.0, and China’s DeepSeek AI.
Grok 3 has a context window of 1 million tokens. It is immediately available to Premium and Premium + subscribers of X and Grok. Additionally, Grok 3 features are available to all Grok users with usage limits. The company has promised to roll out further access to both models via the API platform in the near future.
