In a bid to expand its ecosystem, Monad, a layer 1 blockchain has joined the Chainlink scale program. The development will see Monad integrate the secured and reliable decentralized Chainlink Data Feeds that will further enhance the embracement of the network by developers. 

More so, Chainlink confirmed the integration on Tuesday through a post on its official page on X. Illustrating its contribution to the synergy, Chainlink narrated how it will supply its new partner a variety of extensive Data Feeds. According to the firm, this includes various asset classes and categories like Proof of Reserve and other key offerings. 

Meanwhile, the integration will support the deployment of Chainlink CCIP and Data Streams on Monad Testnet. As announced the move is aimed at enhancing the integration between the two partners. 

However, the integration with Monad surfaced shortly after Chainlink unveiled an upgrade to its Data streams, supporting developers with massive throughput. According to a Binbits report, the latest development will enhance the network strength while allowing one decentralized oracle network (DON) to support 1,000 unique data per second. 

The report established that the increased network strength will support Streams to initiate more efficiently. Chainlink disclosed that the Multistream is the new parallelized framework for Data Streams.

Chainlink and Monad executives’ view on the integration 

The co-founder and CEO of Monad, Keone Hon provided key insights into the integration. The executive said joining the Chainlink scale program will empower Monad to enjoy access to reliable price data feeds. 

Furthermore, the co-founder stated that the proven infrastructure and ultra-reliable data feeds of its new partner are key to unraveling next-generation decentralized finance on Monad. Similarly, the Chief Business Officer of Chainlink Labs, Johann Eid discussed how Monad joined the program to expand DeFi innovation on its layer 1 network. 

Johann Eid revealed that Chainlink’s tamper-proof data will enable developers to unlock powerful new use cases and user experiences. Monad claims to be a high-performance layer 1 blockchain that offers a massive throughput of more than 10,000 transactions per second. 

The Ethereum-compatible network contends that it offers single-shot finality and 0.5s block times. As indicated, the network has four major concepts that support its high-grade concept. The components are MonadBFT, Asynchronous Execution, Parallel Execution, and MonadDb.
