Proof-of-Time vs Proof-of-History - What Is the Difference?
Proof-of-Time (PoT) is a consensus algorithm that is based on Delegated Proof of-Stake (DPoS) and PoS (PoS) PoT uses a ranking system, alongside a voting and delegation system. PoH uses a Verifiable Delay Function (VDF) to verify transactions, similar to PoW (PoW) PoH also uses VDFs to verify how much time has passed between two events. PoT and PoH may share some similarities but both protocols function in a different manner when it comes to electing validators. Read All
