Elon Musk acquired the former Twitter now ‘X’ on April 14, 2024; the publicly available information states that the deal was worth $44 Billion. He also owns several other companies, including Tesla and Neuralink. 



Following the acquisition of Twitter, several new changes came into the limelight; its name was also changed to ‘X,’ and the firm changed the price slab of blue ticks. As per available information, the ‘X’ platform will have no cryptocurrency integrations yet to be launched.   



However, proper regulatory approval and a license to add such services affiliated with cryptocurrencies are required. It is crucial to note that ‘X’ has recently secured a key Check Sales and Money Transmitter license in Louisiana.  



There are several claims that Dogecoin (DOGE) and a few other memecoins are backed by Elon Musk, although he never expected the claims. Most of the time, DOGE, a memecoin pioneer, has faced fluctuation in his statements.  



In 2023, the total number of users of ‘X’ was 421 Million, from which daily active users were 220 Million. The service is primarily used in the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and India.

In the past 52 weeks, the price of DOGE grew 182%, and in the past 30 days, it added 65.33% to its price. It is crucial to note that the memecoin is the 6th most traded coin in the market. 



The trading volume of Dogecoin slipped 15.14% in the past 24 hours, and its market cap declined 1.06%. On March 28, 2024, an unknown wallet on Robinhood transferred 200 million DOGE to a new wallet.

According to Forbes, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization is $2.78 Trillion, and intraday trading volume is $107.74 Billion. Bitcoin, the market leader, has lost 1.24% of its trading value; at the time of writing, it was trading at $70.11k.



Ethereum, the second most prominent cryptocurrency in market capitalization, slipped 1.39% in the past 24 hours and fell to $3.55k. 



Pundi X lost 42.45% of its price, Coinmetro, PigCatSol 33.85%, Moonwell 24.45%, Syncus 22.45%, and Aviator 21.00% are some major intraday losers.
