The Shiba Inu (SHIB ($0.00)) community has once again demonstrated its commitment to reducing the token’s massive supply. Over the past 24 hours, SHIB holders incinerated millions of tokens, driving the burn rate up by an astonishing 3,084%. Meanwhile, SHIB Discord admin Davinci issued a strong statement addressing community behaviour and forum rules.
SHIB Burn Rate Jumps by 3,084% in 24 Hours
According to data shared by Shibburn, a platform dedicated to tracking SHIB burn transactions, the Shiba Inu community burned an impressive 25,730,100 SHIB in just one day. This substantial burn activity caused the daily burn rate to spike by 3,084.6%.
The largest single burn transaction moved 13,989,159 SHIB to a “dead” wallet, permanently removing the tokens from circulation. These transactions contribute to the community’s ongoing efforts to increase scarcity and, potentially, the token’s long-term value.
To date, SHIB holders have burned 410,748,011,819,921 SHIB, a massive portion of the original one quadrillion supply. This effort largely stems from an early 2021 event when Shiba Inu’s mysterious founder, Ryoshi, sent half the supply to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. In a pivotal move, Buterin burned nearly all of the gifted tokens, setting a precedent for future burns.
Currently, approximately 4.83 trillion SHIB remain staked across various exchanges and DeFi protocols. Meanwhile, approximately 584.42 trillion SHIB continue to circulate in the open market.
SHIB Discord Admin Addresses Misinformation and Role Misuse
While the community celebrated the impressive burn numbers, the SHIB Discord forum faced internal challenges. SHIB Discord administrator Davinci took to X (formerly Twitter) to deliver a firm message to the community, particularly targeting those who spread misinformation on Discord.
Davinci reminded members that Discord maintains complete records of all actions, including deleted or edited messages. He emphasised that any attempts at misinformation can be easily traced and warned that such actions only damage the perpetrator’s credibility.
Additionally, Davinci addressed ongoing confusion regarding two prestigious Discord roles: SHIB OG and Shibarmy Legend. He clarified that the SHIB OG title is reserved for early supporters who consistently demonstrate loyalty to the project. If a holder breaks the “OG code,” they risk losing the designation.
On the other hand, the Shibarmy Legend role is awarded to vocal, positive supporters of Shibarium, the project’s layer-2 solution. Fudders, or individuals spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt, are strictly prohibited from holding this title.

New Rules for Bans and Second Chances
Davinci also outlined the forum’s policy regarding bans. Temporarily banned members may request reinstatement after a 30-day cooldown period. However, repeated offences will lead to permanent exclusion. He urged all SHIB Discord users to prioritise the project’s growth over creating unnecessary drama.
His closing message was simple yet powerful: focus on promoting SHIB, not sowing division.
As Shiba Inu’s burn strategy continues to make headlines and internal community standards tighten, the project reinforces its reputation for resilience and self-governance. Whether through reducing token supply or maintaining a positive atmosphere in online spaces, SHIB’s loyal community remains deeply committed to supporting its long-term success.
