ChainCatcher 消息，据官方公告，俄克拉荷马州男子特拉维斯·福特因运营加密货币投资欺诈计划被判处 60 个月监禁，并被命令支付超 100 万美元没收金和 17 万美元赔偿金。

作为 Wolf Capital Crypto Trading LLC 的 CEO 和联合创始人，福特通过公司网站和社交媒体向约 2800 名投资者筹集了 940 万美元，虚假承诺每日 1-2% 的高额回报（年化约 547%）。福特已承认这些回报率无法持续实现，并承认挪用投资者资金用于个人和同谋利益。美国邮政检查局负责调查此案，司法部欺诈部门进行起诉。
