ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，巴基斯坦国家银行支付部门副主管 Faisal Mazhar 表示，在世界银行和国际货币基金组织（IMF）的援助下，央行数字货币（CBDC）原型正在开发中，并计划在全面推广之前进行试点阶段。

另据巴基斯坦银行协会 (PBA) 主席 Zafar Masud 透露，该国正在认真考虑发行巴基斯坦卢比支持的稳定币，并且将推动改善数字资产监管，因为如果数字资产监管出现延误，可能会损失高达 250 亿美元的经济发展机会。
