ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Verge 报道，特朗普正在拆除白宫东翼，为一座金碧辉煌的宴会厅腾出空间。总统表示，这 3 亿美元的费用不会由纳税人承担，由包括他本人在内的私人捐助者将承担。

根据白宫周四公布的捐赠者名单，名单上包括一些美国最大的科技公司，包括亚马逊、苹果、谷歌、Meta 和微软。谷歌旗下的 YouTube 已同意向该项目支付超过 2000 万美元。加密货币领域也表现不俗，Ripple、Tether America、Coinbase 以及 Winklevoss 兄弟（Cameron 和 Tyler 分别出现在榜单中）都提供了捐款。此外，洛克希德·马丁、康卡斯特、T-Mobile 和 Palantir 等国防和电信巨头也榜上有名。
